Just a couple of programs need updating for security reasons.

Java version 32-bit out of Date!
Adobe Flash Player Flash Player out of Date!

Once you have updated them, run Farbar.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it onto your Desktop. If your default download location is not the Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the Desktop.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
If we have to run Farbar more than once, refer this SS.
http://i.imgur.com/yUxNw0j.gif
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the Desktop.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt).
The logs are large, upload them using Zippy ( No account/registration needed ) or upload to a site of your choosing. Give us the links please.

"But now im scared as I lknow the restore point was supposedly incomplete what should could I do so thsi doesnt happen again"

Lets start having a look at what is going on in your XP & your other comp.

1st step.

Download Security Check by screen317 from one of the following links and save it onto your Desktop. If your default download location is not the Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the Desktop.
http://screen317.spywareinfoforum.o...
http://screen317.changelog.fr/Secur...
Please restart the computer before running this security check..
* Double click SecurityCheck.exe. If you run Windows Vista or 7/8, right click and choose 'Run as Administrator'.
o If you are asked by Windows to run this program or not, please click 'Yes' or 'Run'.
o When you see a console window, press any key to continue scanning.
o Wait while it scans.
o If your firewall alerts you of Security Check, please press 'Allow' or similar.
* A Notepad document should open automatically after scan is completed. It will be called checkup.txt; Please Copy and Paste the contents into your reply.
Note: If a security program requests permission from dig.exe to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

Copy & Paste the text in Blue below & save it into Notepad on your Desktop & name it fixlist.txt
NOTE: It is important that Notepad is used. The fix will not work if Word or some other program is used.
NOTE: It is important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system.

Extract from the fixlog.
"EmptyTemp: => 2.5 GB temporary data Removed"
Way, way too big, even for a gamer.
Here are temp file settings for a normal user, adjust to suit your requirements.
Set Java to 100mb
All browsers, set to 50mb ( that's MB, not GB ) for temp.
Chrome is not so straight forward.
How to set Google Chrome cache to 50mb max temporary files.
With comps, there is always more than one way to do things, try this way.
Right click on the Google Chrome shortcut > Properties.
Copy & Paste this below after .exe" as per SS ( Screenshot )
NOTE: There is a space after .exe"
http://i.imgur.com/vgkU3X1.gif
--disk-cache-size=50000"
Click > Apply & then OK.

"thanks for step by step!"
That's Ok, no where near as much work as we had earlier in the year.

"done wise cleaner and defragment by wise cleaner done"
That's fine if it is not an SSD, you don't defrag them.

Just to recap, here is how to run Wise.
Run Wise Disk Cleaner ( Run the 1st three tabs, left to right. I use default settings, leave boxes that are unchecked, unchecked ) Reboot when finished.

"how often should I run wisediskc cleaner (first 3 stesp)"
Because I am installing/uninstalling & experimenting with lots of programs on a daily basis, I run it every few days.
A normal usage would be once a month, or if you notice it is finding lots of stuff, you do it more often.

"and what do you think was my problem?"
No idea, all I have done is to remove stuff that shouldn't be there.

If you feel there is any malware, run all the programs we used earlier this year.

ok couldn't install firefow rignt now will try again in short.

back on regular computer. as I knew screen was working yesterday 9with this oneand the oterh)

all I did was wiggle the cable and the power cable...and it then worked. so today the problem could be the screen(but it happens on both?)

If at any time you wiggle a cable and it makes a noticeable difference then there is some problem with a connection nearby. Mostly it is the connections each end of the cable but the cable itself can go wrong. With laptops the motherboard to screen cable can give problems inside where it hinges - often the screen goes off and on if you slowly close the lid and keep watching it until it's nearly down.

If it happens on both then that is just coincidence unless there is some common factor. The cause may or may not be the same.

Keep a good eye out for these type of hardware faults. If they are present no software fix will help and they don't always show up with diagnostics.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

no matter what I ran adwcleaner after malwarebite(malware found nothing) and then also didjunk removal you suggested last year. im sure now the computer is clean so it shouldn't be malware.

could it be the connection on the back of the computer(where the screen plugs in) it is a bit flimsy

"could it be the connection on the back of the computer(where the screen plugs in)"

It could be. They usually have screws each side so check they are tight. Run with Johnw's suggestion "Try/borrow another monitor." if at all possible, which will check the cable and connector too.

If the picture changes when you wiggle the cable on that one, then try reducing the amount you move the cable until you home in on the fault It's hard to explain but with a careful touch you can often narrow things down considerably - you are trying to find the place where the least movement makes a difference. This approach comes under the broad heading of "Vibration testing" but is only applicable to the type of intermittent fault that responds to it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
