I have this on my external monitor in 2 places and ine suddenly appeared on my laptop screen. It looks like a speck of dirt or a small thunderfly 3mm long and less than 1mm wide. Any ideas what they are? I tried the jfix stuck pixel tool ut didn't seem to do much.

Know how to get rid of them? They're not that noticeable in the monitor but occasionally you see them.

Short of taking the screen apart there is not much you can do about it.
If you are very careful it is possible to take the monitor apart and remove them but unless you have experiance of disassembling elecronics I would advice extreme caution.
