Black bar on the right side, only during internet

Specs: Windows 7
Yesterday I opened my laptop for the first time and it worked fine. But all day today it has been acting weird. When i open internet explorer, a black bar apears on the right side of the screen, and everything is moved over to the left. Like, if the google search bar is in the middle of my screen, and my cursor is slightly to the right of the bar, it's like im still clicking inside the searchbar. My whole screen is moved about a half inch to the left, but the cursor still acts like it's in normal position. And, for the first time today, it has been saying "Internet Explorer has found an error" and closes my internet window randomly. I'm not too good with computers...... help?
Thanks!! ----Nadia

It could be caused by two conflicting graphics card.

1) Right click on your desktop and choose "Configure Switchable Graphics"
2) Choose Internet Explorer 9 on the recent applications and choose the power saving option.
3) Press "Apply" and hopefully it works.

This should now make your laptop use your onboard graphics.

If you want to disable it, follow the first 2 steps and disable the power saving options.

-Happy Holidays.
