I bought an old model Asus v1700 Geforce2MX card to use in my "multimedia" computer and I installed Detonator 44.xx(something) drivers. Now I set it up to use the tv only (monitor when installing) and the damn picture is black and white. I have used a Geforce4mx with that tv before and then I put settings on Pal-b, composite and it worked like a charm. Now I use the same cable(s-video to scart), same settings and the damn picture is black and white! Is there something I have overseen? Please help me guys and women.

These days you flash the video bios in much the same way as an MB bios flash. but the program has to come from the video card manyfacturer.

And I have contacted ASUS support but they haven't answered yet. Anyone know where to get a flash-utility for asus graphics cards?

**** The Solution is HERE****
Hi I'm Italian and I had your same problem
It is NOT a driver problem or a software problemIt's all blame of your television
Your PC send a s-vhs signal and the televisions that you use may not support this kind of signal and the result is that
you see in blak and white
:-)You Must use an adaptateur that transform this kind of signal from S-VHS to "Composito"(in italian)
May be in commerce but for to be sure you can built it
I have upped a manual to built it in this site:
http://space.virgilio.it/carlodin@tin.it
But it's written in italian... try to understand it..
bye let me know if it does it worked!!! :-D
