first off, i am having problems with a biostar motherboard, model M7VIG PRO. 1) everytime we attempt to load into windows, it gives us the blue screen of death, with the following error address: 'STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFC8D3640 0xC0000034 0x0000000 0x0000000)
this address isnt dealing with a RAM or harddrive error, because i have swapped RAM sticks and harddrives with working ones. 2) the PCI slots fail to detect any devices plugged into them, i have installed most recent drivers, upgraded BIOS, jumper settings, etc. Has the motherboard failed? Is there a fix for these problems?-[The New H@MM3R]-

Did you use the Stand-offs on the motherboard and only where they are needed on the motherboard? Could be it isn't grounded correctly. Here is a site for error messages. Look it up there.

i figured out part of the problem. the STOP error message has been fixed after repairing the windows installation, however this stop message still shows up on 2 other harddrives that contain windows xp, and i know how to fix that particular problem now. but i do not know the solution to the PCI slots problem. any suggestions, even though i am A+ Core Hardware 2003 Obj. certified, i am still needing help with such troubles, many thanks in advance!
