Does anyone know if the Biostar P4M800 Pro-M7 motherboard works with Windows Vista? I looked on the Biostar website, and all that was mentioned was Windows XP. If anyone has the answer, thanks a million!

The question is why do you suspect it may be incompatible with Vista - huh?
Do you know something about the board besides everyone else?

The mobo is compaitble but the onboard chips arent.
You will find some of your onboard devices wont work under Vista.
Try loading vista into a Virtual machine if you want to try it out. I would advise against loading vista on an old machine XP is better at the moment.
As you think, so shall you become - Bruce Lee

I did go to their website, but I did not see any Windows Vista drivers, so I thought maybe someone would know here.

I read his first post and saw very clearly that he DID visit the Biostart site, so, why so confrontational, Orbital? He just asked for help, and that's why we are here. Or so I thought.
You will find that a lot of things don't work yet on Vista. That's why the wise ones are saying 'give it a year'. The manufacturers and driver writers just haven't been doing their parts. You would think that after a five year development phase everything would be up and running like gang busters. Their not.
A positive attitude won't solve all your problems, but it will annoy just enough people to be worth the effort.

This is why I use my Mac more often, but my dad needs a Windows machine for his business. Microsoft drives me nuts most of the time.

Or so I thoughtThe first answer in this thread given by sabertooth was even more confrontatinol. Answers given by others prooved that the original poster's doubts about the motherboard were correct. I agree with PC Bob that we all are here to help. People who come for help belong to all groups including those who are complete novices to those who are very knowledgeable. All should be dealt with due respect so that they feel being welcomed. If someone dont want to help then he should simply keep his fingers away from the keyboard.
