Ive a big probelm, When i got my new cpu the 550 BE i put it in my new motherboard the K10n78m, The bios won't display at all, I thought the problem was that i needed to update my bios either to 1.60 or 1.50, I don't have any other cpus to update the bios. Would i just be safest buying a bios chip? also flashing i wont be doing

Are you benchtesting the board first or did you just slap it in the case & immediately connect all the drives & other components? And how do you know which BIOS is installed if you haven't been able to boot up? If the board is in the case, take it out & do it right.

I used a anti static mat to do it and it still won't run, it was put in the case last.

If it didn't work outside the case, why would you bother installing it?

Are you sure you benchtested correctly? To do it you need the board, CPU w/HSF, one stick of RAM, keyboard, power supply & monitor...nothing else. The monitor should be connected to the onboard video & both the 24-pin main ATX plug & 4-pin ATX12V need to be connected to the board. Turn on the monitor & power supply, then power up the board by momentarily shorting the two power switch pins with the tip of a screwdriver.

Do any fans spin up?

Do you have a speaker connected to the board to see if it's emitting any beep codes?

Speakers, with an "s"? I don't mean stereo speakers connected to the sound port on the rear of the board, I mean a case speaker connected to the correct pins on the board's speaker header. See page 29 of the manual:
