Hi, I have a big problem with a old computer...I want to fix a Fujitsu Siemens lifebook B2130 and the problem is that there is no possibility to find hard-disks, but some times it does find....so I think that the problem is bios, I find a bios on internet for the 2130 B-Series, the pc make the update, but then gives a error. I dont know what to do anymore... thanks

How can you tell for sure?

Lesson Number 1: The Internet is over-abounded with bogus claims.

Lesson Number 2: Flashing BIOS in most case is tantamount to irreversibly ripping the heart out of the mobo

If the BIOS finds the hard-disk sometimes but not always, I would suggest the problem lies with the hard disk, not the BIOS. If the BIOS ever worked with that hard disk, here is no reason why it wont work now, unless the hard-disk is damamged.

I agree with XPUser, flashing the BIOS is only something you do if you are sure it will fix a particular problem and only then as a last resort. It is not something you do as part of regular trouble shooting.

...and you should download BIOS updates ONLY from the manufacturers site.

Make sure that in your current BIOS that
you have "Flash Protection: Disabled" -- if
there is this option on your motherboard's
BIOS.
