I update bios of my dell vostro 3500, and it stopped at 79%, and do nothing, i put out my battery, and my laptop isnt turn On the display... what can i do by myself...
i know that can use a flash bios, but dont know haw, help me...
Why did u update BIOS?
I don't think u can recover from firmaware update failure unless the system have dual BIOS(technology owned by gigabyte).
U are going to need new motherboard.You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
Contact Dell. I'm afraid you have bricked the motherboard. Was there a reason for attempting the bios update? Goin' Fishin' (Some day)

Try to remove the power cord and battery and hold the start button for 20 seconds then start the system. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
Do you have a floppy drive? From the Dell website: NOTE: You will need to provide a bootable DOS diskette. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.
Copy the file 3500_A10.EXE to a bootable floppy.
Boot from the floppy to the DOS prompt.
Run the file by typing Y:\3500_A10.EXE (where y is the drive letter where the executable is located).
I wonder if that can be done with USB thumb drive insteady of floopy. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.
