Bios shows military time

Specs: Windows XP, intel
Bios shows military time and when i change it -- it goes back to false time

nope im just stupid -- purchasing a new cmos battery to see if that fixes the issue

What am I supposed to make of that response? We have no clue of your capabilities. If that was supposed to be a cute comment it isn't appreciated.

Many folks overlook the Apply button when making changes.

If the military time is correct then your problem is NOT the CMOS battery.

Where are you setting the time? In Windows?

As far as I am aware all mb bios use the 24 hour (military) format, who cares anyway as you don't work in bios, but in the operating system.
Who the hell goes to bios to check the time.
