BIOS problem, Keyboard not working

Hi, My KB is not working. ONly mouse is working.One of my friend said hit magic key and try to check whether the bios can be loaded. How to do that? Can I replace my bios? How much is it?

1st, try another keyboard, maybe the kb is wrecked, next is the KB plugged in properly. If it's the ps2 slot, your fried you will need to get out your tools and find the the fault, don't ask I been going to computer school for 3 years and they still haven't taugh me how. If your lucky maybe it's just the PS/2 slot which you can replace with your solder. If the board is cheap, break it in half and throw it in the bin. You can not get a PS/2 to serial convertor and try to get KB access this way it doesn't work.
