bios flashing to boot from usb

i got a compaq armada m700-Piii-448Mb-40 gig. i want to flash the bios to be able to boot OS from usb flash drive AND i want to completely remove the cddrive and the hdd too!! anybody PLEASE help !! if not possible will i always need a startup boot disk. i use linux.

When you say remove the CD and HDD I take it you mean remove them from the boot options. You should already have that in the BIOS.
If Compaq don't produce a BIOS for your machine that allows booting from USB then you are not going to get one.
Why do you need to boot from a floppy? Seems that you have made an error during installation and have installed the boot loader on a floppy disk instead of the hard disk.
