There are so many things that I'd like to say, but I won't. Just think about what you're asking for a minute...maybe the answer will come to you.

Why not LOOK at the BIOS version during thePOST screens to answer your own question. The answer is that restting the CMOS won't change the BIOS version.

well i was just wondering it was curiosity plus i dont have a desktop to test it on nor if i did have my desktop i would not even atempt it to find my answer as it would force my CPU not to be recognized again, i was asking this question only because as in my other posts i have been having trouble with my mobo CPU combo i found it was that the CPU is not supported nor will it be supported if i was to flash BIOS, but i was wondering if it would of been supported and i payed the 25 bucks to flash my bios (waste of money but had no other CPU that would of worked nor did any friends or family)then i was forced to reset BIOS for whatever reason i would not want to waste another 25 bucks to retardoness :P. but im now assuming as i asked a stupid question apperently that no my version will stay only the settings within the BIOS will be set to default

PC:

CPU: Athlon 64 3500+
RAM: 1GB DDR 400
HDD: 80GB SATA
GPU: Geforce 6150

Laptop:

CPU: Turion 64 x2 Tl-50
RAM: 2GB DDR2
HDD: 160GB
GPU: Mobility x1600

Not to me. Post #4 is about the longest single sentence I've seen for some time.
