HELP! When I wanted to flash my bios, it came up with a screen where I was supposed to enter my password, which is normal, but NOT if you don't have one! I tried to enter a blank password, but it doesn't work. It's a D865GLC, can't i just skip the flashing? What should I do???
I'm confused...you said you're trying to flash your BIOS, & then you asked if you can skip the flashing? Do you wanna flash or don't you? What exactly are you trying to do?

it doesn't matter... i never configured a password but now i should enter one. I just tried a recovery and it didn't help... the problem is that i don't have a password
Are you trying to enter the BIOS to change the settings, or are you trying to update (flash) the BIOS? If you wanna remove the password, all you have to do is reset the BIOS. Either use the ClearCMOS jumper, or remove the battery for a few minutes (always unplug the power cord before doing this or the BIOS may not clear). If you don't wanna go thru that, use a program called KILLCMOS...it will do essentially the same thing...it resets all the BIOS settings to their defaults, & erases the password:
