Hi recently when I booted up my comp it went straight to bios utility with the following message:

According to cpu external frequency setting, system memory can only operate at frequency higher than or equal to 333mhz, please make sure DRAM maximum frequency is not less than 333mhz.

If I re-boot it always just goes to this error in the bios, the only way I can get the comp to boot to windows was I changed the CPU away from 2667mhz to "manual" and now windows loads, but I fear there is some problem here.

My bios info states:
CPU 2667mhz
CPU frequency multiplyer 16.0
CPU external frequency 166/33
Memory frquency 333
CPU Vcore setting auto
CPU Vcore 1.65ov

I dont know what to do/change? It looks like the frequency is set at 333mhz?
I downloaded microsofts memory checker and ran it and my 512ddr passed.

Any thoughts would really be appreciated

There are two versions of AthlonXP 2600. One version is 266FSB with a 16.0 multiplier that runs at a frequency of 2.13GHz. The second one is 333FSB with a multiplier of 11.5 that runs at a frequency of 1.9GHz. You seem to be overclocking this processor. If you can change the frequency and FSB to AUTO then do so. If not then more info is needed before advice can be given. What memory do you have in this system. Is it ddr 2100 or ddr 2700 or something else? Post more info on processor, motherboard, memory, etc.
