I have a SCSI card that works fine. Since you can have numerous SCSI controllers I have installed a 2nd SCSI card. However it is not detected during boot. I have no idea why it doesnt. How can I solve this?

OS doesn't matter concerning the scsi card. This is at the hardware not OS level.
Is the bios enabled on the card? Pull the other card and see if the 2nd card's bios shows up. You may need to document the irq/base io address of the 1st card and then set the 2nd card to different addresses.
