When bios flashing goes bad sometimes there's no easy recovery. IF the bios chip is a plug-in type you may be able to get a replacement. Otherwise you may be up for a new motherboard.
If you get a single beep that's not a bad sign and as for searching for something in floppy, put a bootdisk in and see what happens. I suspect however that you're not getting any display and the bios is fragged.

Did you reset the CMOS memory after flashing the BIOS? This is usually required if there are any major modifications done. Do you get anything on the monitor? If so, things are looking good.

As Richard says, a single BEEP is good. You may need to re-detect you hard drives to get the computer to boot from there.

As a last resort, you might be able to get a replacement bios chip at one of the following sites.

www.badflash.com
www.flashbios.org

Thanx To all of u for ur reply.

My computer gives only one long beep, the screen is left blank and searches something in floppy drive.

I hav read in an article that in this situation, create a boot disk and copy the BIOS Flash & Bin File in bootdisk + modify the autoexec.bat file. Also no space left to add file in Bootdisk.

But i don't know the correct version of BIOS i was using. No Motherboard HandBook i hav.

But My PC model is HP BRIO BA600.

I searched in their site but only updated version has been given for download.

Pls Reply now what to do?
