yea, I agree that it's unlikely. If you're having problems that you think are BIOS related, reflash the BIOS. You may as well search for an updated version, or you could reflash using the same version Asus A7N8X-X 1800+ @ 8 x 210MHz 512MB PC3200 Asus Ti4800SE 128MB WinME/WinXP Pro
