What is the biggest hard drive out there now, and about what is the ball park price of it both on the wholesale and consumer end.
And, are most boards able to handle its size for the units built today, as mine, the old dinasour can not unless a PCI device is bought bypassing those issues of size beign read of the hard drive.
Mine is a dinasour from 1999 and max memory is only 512 Sdram Dimm.
My dinasour has been faithful, nothing wrong with same, lasting a longgggggggg time; however, on viewing other friend's computer's speed and our new work computer's speed, I would like a faster unit that encodes my videos and such at a much quicker rate than the 800 mghz dinasour I have now.

All about large drives:
Yes it is about time to pension of your PC for UK £200 one can buy an entry level PC:http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/sear...
Biggest retail drive around 750gb SATA, in the UK £140:

I saw 2 TB drive somewhere the other day, I recall about $1,000 USD
A positive attitude won't solve all your problems, but it will annoy just enough people to be worth the effort.

Thanks everyone, so sorry late in getting back with you, working and doing tech stuff on top of it. Thanks again
