That choice only you can make!!!
Take a good look at the specifications for each car. What you get for the money.
And find any articles on the web that have test perfomance for each card and compare the 2 against each other.
I am not familiar with eather of the 2 cards but Logic say the 6800 should perform better, but as we have all noticed in the past this is not always the case.

Summary: Ah. Thanks for your nice post. Well vsync was enabled then i turned it off and tried unreal 2k4 again and it was a tiny bit better in fps but doom3 was the same.. i havent tried 3dmark or aquamark yet...
