What do you guys think the lowest going rate on DVD-Rs is? Or if you know the best price on the other formats, that'd be very useful too. BTW: I already know what the difference is between DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R, and DVD-R, so you don't have to waste your time explaining it.
Thanks.

My PC's busted. But I have good news: I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico.

Dang, that's a good deal, but unfortunately, I live in the US. :-(
Any other ideas?
Thanks for the follow up.

I think I found a good price on 4x DVD-Rs at:
http://store.yahoo.com/compcdr/dvdr4x.html
50 for $13.00 with free shipping. That's 26 cents a disc! Not bad.
What do you think?

I personally think thats a great price. But, this is one of those things where you get what you pay for.

After having used many discount type DVDs, I have come to the conclusion that in the end its not worth the savings if you want quality burns that last.

I now exclusively use inkjet printable Taiyo Yudens. Never have had a bad burn with them and they last. However, if consistent good quality long lasting burns is not a concern, then you can get any cheapo no name to fill your needs.

Good luck

I get Verbatim DVDs at Sam's. Last week I paid about $42 for 100 8X and they are printable.

I've used Verbatim media for more than 5 years and it's been pretty decent.
