|Your issue is not that XP can't run it is that there is no more companies that make good computers. At one time days were spent on testing but now the test is when you power it up. You are the tester.|
I'd get a new Windows 7 computer from a big name company or one that has a good warranty. Then I'd run a free virtual machine to run XP in. VM's were made to run xp and they don't much care about the host OS or system.
You can get a free security suite from MS. See security essentials.
Almost all linux,bsd, qnx, beos OS's will run on the VM's too so you can run many at one time if you want with a VM.
