What agp 4X card would you suggest for less than $50. Max $55.

I was thinking any card with FX5200 chipset from eVGA, MSI and Chaintech. Any suggestions or alternatives ?

Why FX5200 ? Not sure if this makes sense, or matters, but that was the cheapest chipset I could find that supports DirectX 9.

I know for $15-$20 more I could jump to 256bit 256MB but I cant do that. I have to adjust budget for other upgrades to the PC and I dont need a killer card.

Running WinME, Athlon 1Ghz(will go to Athlon 2400+) and 256MB PC2100, if that helps to know.

Stay AWAY from the 5200 at all costs.

...Go for a TI4200 128MB! (about US$60)

Peace.
