I need to get some portable Bench-marking software (That will fit onto a floppy disk) so I can bench-mark a new PC I am getting, to make sure it works properly...

I don't know if you will find any that small. Even Aida32 is 3 Mb in the compressed state. Of course that isn't exactly benchmarking, but it would give you some good ideas.

Check with zdnet and even cnet; they may have something for you. Also, do a search on google.com

Good luck.

If you had provided an e-mail address, (as denoted by your name being underlined - like mine), people would have sent you what you required.

Good luck - Keep us posted.

I have a program called The Trouble Shooter. It does all sorts of tests on your PC.

A tech guy at Compusa gave it to me (It's a $60 program!) because I was having trouble with my computer and I was asking him all sorts of questions and he must of got tired of it. So he just gave me this program and said;

"Here this should help you, now go away you anoying little man!"

Maybe he didn't say that last part but you could tell he was thinking it!

Anyway, give me your E-mail addy and I'll send you a copy.

Fresh Diagnose - system information and benchmarking; great program. You can download it from ...

It's 1267 kb; will fit on floppy.

Good luck,
