Specs: Windows vista, Intel core 2 duo t7500, 2 gb ram

I have my hp laptop in trouble. I had windows vista and laptop started proper earlier but I had a loud beep every time my laptop start and then my system hang. After some time I can work earlier.

But now the laptop has gone completely dumb. It shows me the screen with six partitioned displays over the monitor all in flickering patterns like the below image:

As can see below there are multiple small vista screens here. Vista also detects this reduction in screen size and adjusted the screen size to small screens. I can figure out some buttons and shut down:

Please help. Does this mean my video card is gone? What can be the worst that might have happened to this machine? please help.

if your video card has gone it would show nothing
try to reinstall driver
that beep is sound of bios "exclamation"
seems your bios dont recognize video card
when computer starts up and show your
bios begin pressing f8 until advanced boot
choose last known good config and boot

It's going to be the video controller, video ram or screen. I don't think the symptoms point precisely to any one of those. You'll probably need to take it to a shop since it's a hardware problem.

Oh, an you don't need to edit your URL link (by adding the spaces). It's not like you're linking to a porn site.
