If I hooked a 9V battery up to my PC speakers how long do you think it would last?

Try it and see. No one here is going to be able to give you a definite answer. Batteries are rarely used nowadays. Furthermore, they would need specific make/model of speakers and type of battery (akaline batteries last a lot longer than standard zinc-carbon batteries.)
For future and/or similar posts "PC speakers" is not enough information, we need make and model number. There are many manufacturers that produce speakers that are capable of being powered by batteries. Each manufacturer produces different models. Each model draws the current at a different load.

Theres really no need to tell you the make/model, there just standard pc speakers, but if you must know there labtec CS-800's And they are not made to be battery powered, they run off a 9V AC adaptor,(like most speakers) I guess I just wanted to know before I waste a good 9V battery.

I'll tell you 'exactly' how long using a 9 volt battery for the speakers will last. It will last until you have to replace the battery the first time. Then you will decide 'that was a bad idea'. :-)
