I got an APC Battery Backup 500VA about a year ago and it came with Windows 98 save and shutdown software. I never did install it because I thought if there was a power failure it might bug up something with XP. Win XP does have multiple log on users, just wasn't sure if the Win 98 was compatible with XP so I never installed it. I just downloaded the Win XP off there site but it's for a plug and play which this doesn't have that, this one has like the mouse type plug in. So just wondering should I install Win 98 software for this? or look more into trying to find an XP one. I'd like not to have to worry that one night I leave it on it won't drain the battery and still cause an error, hehe. Power isn't that reliable were I am, alot of flickers sometimes and stuff. So just wondernig if anyone knows anything about this? I could just install the Win 98 but for shutting down and stuff, kind of want the proper one for XP, hehe, ok give me a shout if you know anything about this stuff?? :))
