Hi,

Im thinking of buying a new video card and just want to know which 1 would i be better off with, considering they are both the same price. I've done alot of research and read reviews between the bfg 6600 GT and the bfg 6800 OC and they are basically the same....6800 pulls away a lil on higher resolutions bcuz of its 12 pipelines vs the 8 on 6600 and alot of people have been sucessful on the softmod for 6800 to open up 16 pipes and 6 more vertex ones...they both are $250 and was wondering which one would i be better off with. i have a barton 2500 @ 3200, 512 PC3200...going to get 512 more s00n :).....would the 6800 get bottlenecked on my system?.....and which card would i be better off with in overall performance...any help appriciated.

Thanks

oviously the 6800. but if bottlenecked means not work to its full potentioal and they are the same price i would still go with the 6800, just use coolbits to oc and you have the best card in the world. i would pick the 6800 kuz it is the most bang for the buk
