I just order the following from newegg. I just installed the PSU, Motherboard, CPU and RAM. I plugged in the power to see if it will turn on as a test but all I get is an LED light on the motherboard. No fans will start, not even on the PSU. I tripped the PSU with a paper clip and the fans on the case and PSU start. I tried it without the RAM but no luck. Any ideas?

A common mistake is to install motherboard standoffs where there isn't a hole in the motherboard. Thereby causing a short circuit.

Doublecheck all your connections - labelling on the mboard next to pins can be misleading - consult the mboard manual.
Make sure the ram and all cards are all the way down in their slots.ATX PSs are always powering the ATX mboard in some places even when the computer is not running, as long as the PS is getting live AC, the PS is switched on, and the PS is connected to the mboard.
ALWAYS unplug the case/PS, or turn off the switch on the PS, or switch off the AC source to the computer, when you do anything inside your case.Go to the Asus web site and make sure the cpu you are trying to use is on the list of cpus compatible with this model.
Not all DDR2 modules will work in your mboard.
Go here and make sure the specific ID code on the label on ram you are trying to use is listed for (is compatible with) this mboard:

What graphics card, or cards, are you using?
Depending on which one, or ones, you are using, 430watts PS capacity may not be enough; it isn't enough for higher end cards, and it almost certainly is not enough if you have two graphics cards installed.
The minimum PS capacity is often stated in the specs for the graphics card on the card manufacturer's web site. Some recent mboards will not boot, or will boot but will shut down in a very short time, if there is no 3 or 4 wire connection from a fan to the 3 or 4 pin cpu fan header.
