Bad Block?

I am coming up with this error...
in the Event Viewer.. disk error
This device has a bad block Device/Harddisk O/D has a bad block..
I have Main Drive- C Floppy Drive-A Compact Flash - D Smart Media drive-E MMC drive-F Mem stick drive-G DVD CDR/W drive H DVD Rom drive-I I know sometimes it referes to different drives like when you install c turnes to d, wanted to know if this may mean my C drive or does it mean my D (compact flash drive is bad)?

Harddisk 0 is usually the C drive in Windows. That fact that you see the D seems to point to the flash drive though. You could download the diagnostic programs from the HD manufacturer and boot with that. It will scan the drive for bad blocks and possibly fix them. It's a free d/l.

I downloaded and ran the diagnostic program but checked good, it is only 9 months old, so was hoping it was not that, don't know how to check flash drive, will have to read up on it, thanks for the info to check my drive, which seems ok, I hope.
