Comment:

I need to bypass or reset the BIOS PW (Not Known). I've tried removing/replacing the battery, unplugging cables, and tried various PW's for breaking the PW for the Award Bios..all unsuccessful. Can someone help me with a direction to try?

The best surefire method to clear the CMOS is by means of the clear CMOS jumper on the MBoard. As jam has already stated you need to have the power fully disconnected before proceeding.

After clearing the CMOS you will need to enter the BIOS screens and reset many values there. When you come to the password option I suggest you simply hit the enter key. That will set the password to none.
