Award Bios optimal/Turbo??

I got an Asus a7v8x motherboard, and i was snooping around my bios and there is an option for either i want optimal or turbo..........what is it talking about....system performance??.....if its syestem performane does it make a difference in performance?.....thanks allot Josh

the turbo will make a improvement in performance but ur mobo is going to run ur hardware in an overclocked state which make ur computer less stable and can cause problems if u dont have adequate cooling..
running your computer in optimal mode ensures stability , reliability, and that all hardware will work ....it is reccomened to have this set to optimal mode...(thats what i have it set to)
