auto detecting pri master but still boots

Specs: Windows XP
Hey guys.

Ok, here is my problem. Very simple when I go to boot into windows, I get an error that says Auto Detecting Primary Master Press F4 to Abort. If I just let it sit, its boots no problem into windows after like 1 minute.

My question is, is there anyway to turn that off, or skip, or better yet, what is the problem?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have more than one hard drive installed? If so,verify in the BIOS that you have the correct hard drive selected as the first hard disk.

Also, check to verify the hard drive is the primary master, not a CD drive.
