I have an AUS 97-v Mainboard, which has got the PS/2/USB/USB-IR type connector, and the two 9-pin COM ports. Attaching my serial mouse to one of the COM ports has no effect, even in DOS (as the mouse driver won't load) *grins*.
After testing both COM ports successfully, I decided its gotta be something in the BIOS. Even though the fact both COM's testing ok means the ports are obviously correctly set.
The only thing in the BIOS relating to the mouse is to Enable pS/2. Any suggestions ?
