Does anyone know where I can find an audio splitter (Y-jack) so I can connect both my DVDRom and CDRW to my sound card? I've looked all over the internet and can't find anything.

Are you even sure you need to connect them? Try putting a music CD in each one before continuing the search. They're only really needed for DOS.

You only need one hook it up to your master.
Any splitters and jacks on output side can be found at radio shack

In the search box type in "cdrom cables". The first hit should be for a two way audio cable. That way you can play music cds in both your drives, if that's what you're doing.

I can play music in both of my drives with only 1 audio cable hooked up to sound. As a mater of fact I dont think it mayyers if it is the master or slave it is hooked up to. Have you tried it with 1 cable?

In my computer the Dvd drive is the Master and the Cdrw is the Slave. I can only listen to a music cd with the Dvd drive because that's the only one hooked up to the sound card with the audio cable. Most sound cards only have one CD IN connector. For me to use both drives to listen to music cds, I would need a two way cable.
