Comment:

I'm installing Windows XP SP2 on a friends laptop and the audio will not work. I have scaned for new drivers at driveragent.com and it tells me the driver for the Crystal WDM Audio Codec is okay. I can manually change the settings and they will stay until I reboot. Any Thoughts?

The driver is the Windows XP SP2 driver. IBM does not list an audio driver for this laptop using Windows XP.

I think you have a resource problem, the specs of the laptop are barely acceptable for W2K.
