Where can I find an audio plug for built in speakers on my flat screen monitor? It's about 3-4 years old.

You need to look at the type of end you need on the monitor end. The end that connects to the sound jack is a standard stereo mini jack. If they don't have the exact cable you need you can probably use an adapter on one end.
