normally you download the drivers from makers website. you then double click on the downloaded file and it leads you through the process - normally a box opens in middle of screen and you just keep clicking on Next when prompted to.

Just go to the HP/Compaq site & download them. You'll need the exact model number of your laptop to be able to find the correct drivers. I punched in "C100" & it came up as a workstation/desktop PC, not a laptop.
