I have just built a computer. It seems to work just fine. Since the power supply insatalled is used; I decided to check the voltage coming out of it.
I know there is a tolerance of 5% below/over the voltage that should be considered normaal. The 5 volts is OK. but the 12 volts is giving me a reading of 12.95 volts.
This is a little over the 5% tolerance. Should I accept this as normal or should I change the power supply?

As I said before, the machine seems to work fine.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks,

Robert

Thanks Johnoh for your answer! I was concerned about the rest of the hardware in this PC. But if your machine is being running ok for three years with those voltave readings I see no reason for me to be worried that much.

Thanks again and have a great day!

Robert
