Specs: Windows Vista
I recently purchased ATI FirePro V5800. Have the card installed and got the latest Catalyst driver installed that I downloaded and installed from ATIs website, with the help of a hot fix. The issue seems that when I run the catalyst in the properties it’s saying the driver and hardware is not compatible. It’s like the Driver and Card are not talking to each other so to speak. I have tried windows vista to find the driver and its fixes. Did the updates in the device manager too still the same problem. Does anyone know the secret trick(s) to ATI cards to get them working with their own drivers?

If you're getting a display on the screen with the monitor cable connected to the ATI card, the card is working. If you purchased the card brand new, a driver disk should have been included, that's what you should have used. The FirePro series is a workstation/professional graphics card, not a desktop/gaming card, although some people use them as such.
