ATI Radeon X1600 Support
I know this sounds like overkill. I have my home computer hooked up to 1) the monitor {VGA} 2) my 47inch in the livingroom {DVI}
but I want to hook a second tv using the compenent cables it comes with. {middle digital out.}
Problem I'm having is once I plug the compenent in I loose the DVI.
Can't seem to find any settings in the Catalyst control center that will allow three cloned displays. Any suggestions? or reasons why it can't be done?
Thanks in advance whoever might know the answer

I've never heard of being able to run three displays at the same time off of an ATI video card.
I looked at the User manual for X1600 - no mention in there. I assume you don't have an svideo out jack on the card - even if you did and it worked you wouldn't like TV display in comparison to a monitor display.The only way I know of for you to get three displays is for you to get a video splitter box and connect it to either a VGA output (cheaper) or a DVI output (not so cheap).
E.g.

It does have a S-Video out. and that's the thrid display once I plug the S-video in and connect it to the second TV the first TV goes away

I still see no way to have three displays at the same time without a video splitter box.
I see no evidence in the manual that you can support any more than two displays at once in any mode.
You should be able to toggle them though.
Catalyst Control Center - Displays Manager - Swap DisplaysIf you have an actual ATI brand name card, and not a clone card that uses ATI chips, according to the manual you either have an Svideo port on one end of the card bracket, or you have a port that looks like an Svideo port except it has more pin holes in the middle of the card bracket that you can optionally connect to HDTV component video (and only HDTV) - 3 RCA cables.
If you have the latter, you DO NOT have an Svideo port.
