Specs: Windows XP
I am tryin to update my graphic card from an intergrated graphic controller (intel Extreme graphics 2) to (ATI Radeon 9600XT 256 DDR AGP)...I tried uninstalling the Integrated graphic controller..
Monitor says check signal when ATI Graphic card is in AGP slot...could this be related to the power supply... when i remove ATi graphic card and plug monitor into old DVI monitor works fine...is it the video card or the powe supply...My BOIS is by Pheonix...tried updating it..didn't work....read online something bout a Jumper...cause BIOS settings said nothing bout AGP

"Graphics Controller Status Enabled
Graphics Frame Buffer Size 8 MB"

You have to disable the onboard graphics.

And don't worry about the power supply...a Radeon 9600XT uses very little power.
