Comment:
I have a ATI Radeon 9000 pro video card that causes my computer to boot normally besides the fact that nothing comes up on the screen from the start. it works fine with my old card, and through a process i memorized through BIOS i can get it to work upon the automatic restart. but it is definately a nuisance. Please help, if you need more details, no problem

might not be compatbile to your motherboard, what you could do is try to update your bios and see if that solve your problem.

your agp mode should be set 4x and agp aperture size set to 128. see if this will help.

What motherboard do you have?
If you don't even get the graphic card BIOS either the card isn't seated in the slot all the way, the card isn't compatible with your motherboard or the card is faulty.
Do you have another PC you could test the card on?

I have a MicroStar MS-6330 (I think) I have the new card in right now, all i have to do is restart the computer while it's booting, Ive tweaked with the aperture thing, same problem though.
