Uhhhhhh...how about checking the ATI website? Version 6.5 is the LAST version of the Catalyst drivers to support that old card of your's.

First of all, ATI (AMD) does not support the Radeon 7000 series...but, for drivers, the latest available is here;

Which driver is best? No clue which version you should use...try everything you can get hold of and run benchmarking programs to find the best catalyst package.

I'm curious why you're using that old card in a P4C machine? It would be better suited to a P2 rig.

What do you want to be able to do with it? The Radeon 7000 is fairly old & definitely not good for most newer games. Plenty of cards come with TV-out. Give us an idea of what you wanna use it for & how much you'd be willing to spend & someone should be able to help you out.

The Radeon 7000VE is not a good gaming card & never was. It is the lowest of the low when it comes to the earliest Radeon models (about 5 yrs ago). It's based on Radeon RV100 GPU which is basically the Radeon R100 stripped of it's hardware T&L. I'd like to know how you got it to run at 350MHz. It runs at either 166MHz or 183MHz (depending on model)...how were you able to double the speed?

This article should help you to choose the best card in your price range. You should also consider adding another 512MB RAM.

I agree, for 3d games Radeon 7000 is very poor, even an old Geforce 2 mx 400 is much better and that's ancient by todays standards. With any decent 3d game you must be getting poor frame rates with the radeon 7000ve like the image moving in jerks - a decent modern card would show a stunning difference in smoothness of 3d image
