I'm planning on getting a new video card after I kill my Radeon 9200 from OC'ing. The only problem is, I don't know which one I should get. I want a good card that fully supports DirectX 9.0C, good cooling/long lasting, 256 or 128mb DDR memory, 350mhz or more core, under $300.00, and can be easily OC'ed. Also, which brand is better? Ati or Nvidia? Please don't post any "All-in-wonder" cards; I have no need for them.

You'll need to provide your computers specifications to get a good answer to your question (include CPU speed/manufacturer, motherboard model and power supply specifications) Since you have an MDG, your power supply could be a problem.
Asus P4P800
P4 2.4c @ 3000 Mhz Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu HSF
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
1 GB OCZ pc 3500 ram
Sound Blaster audigy LS

If you overclock what does it matter? You'll burn it up soon enough. Then just get the other one.

ATI has left nVidia in the dust lately.
If your motherboard has PCI Express there's the X800GT which retails at about 200$.
If not, then the X700 comes in AGP 8x. There's of course the AGP 8x, Radeon 9800 Pro which is a year old model but still a very good card both of these run about 150$.
All three come with 256MB of on board DDR memory.
Personally I think nVidia blows so I'm not gonna venture into their product line.

for under $300? wow that leaves quite a few nice high-end cards you can buy. I have an ATi X800PRO and I get good OCs from this and I got a refurb one for less than $200 at shop.ati.com Mine is running at 525/565 speeds right now with no artifacting.
Build-in-Progress:
NZXT Nemesis Elite
Athlon 64 3200
Abit An8
OCZ EL PE Rev2 DDR400
X800PRO

Both support DirectX 9.0c, and both are available with configurations under $300. I heard that nVidia is slightly better for 3D, whereas Radeon is slightly better with 2D (or vice versa, but these are not readily noticeable differences). As for latest models, there's the Radeon X000 series, and the GeForce 7000 series.

You don't know if you have PCIe???? How about taking a peek if you're modding and overclocking in there?
