hello i'm thinking about buying a notebook with a ati mobile radeon in it.it has 64 mb's of ddr sdram in the chipset. I went on ati website to see which mobile chipset it was and the only one that has 64 mbs of ram was the MOBILITY™ RADEON™ 9000 which if you go to this webpage is how I based my finding http://www.ati.com/technology/hardware/comparisons/mobilitycomparison.html do any of you HAVE A ONE OF THESE CHIPSETS OR KNOW SOME ONE WHO DOES if you do please tell me if GTAIII will run on it with good fps

Hi Suger daddy. I have that video chip in my new Dell laptop. I can't tell you what the fps is but I have run "Unreal Tournament" and it is very smooth. Before I gave my 1-1/2 year old Dell laptop to my sister, I ran the "Unreal Tournament" demo mode on both laptops side by side. The ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 flew past the older ATI chip in my old Dell. ( Of course the newer laptop has a faster cpu also. ) The RADEON 9000 finished playing the demo and started over before the older chip got half way through the demo.
