with a card that old it would be lot less effort and not much more money to replace it, look around for a better vid card and just replace the one you have

How old is the card ? I have a ATI RADEON 32MB SDR PCI ,that I ipurchased aprx 3 years ago ,and on the box it says it has a five year warranty ! Also Iam curious what made you realize your fan wasnt working ? Makes me wonder if I need to check mine ? FYI, I installed a PCI Graphics card because my new P3 750Mhz did not have an AGP slot on the motherboard ! Because of all of the reading I've done touting that AGP is the way to go with graphics cards ,I was ready to be disappointed with the performance of the PCI card. I was pleasantly surprised, the improvement over my i810 intergrated graphics was ten fold ,and I get very good FPS rates !
Take Care Nick

There's one here that would probably work ($17.95):

I knew my fan was going out because i openedmy case and i heard the noise coming from it. To make sure it was the fan i briefly touched it and the noise stopped.
