I was wondering out of these two cards which one is better and worth the money. I thank you in advanced.
1)Ati Radeon 9600XT.
2)Nvidia GeforceFx 5700 Ultra.

i am an nvidia guy so i would get 5700 ultra. The newest games that will come out (doom 3) are tested using nvidia fx cards so they are the best. Ati is good too but their drivers stink awefully. They cant seem to get it right. Nvidia has good drivers. You might also get different opinions but its your choice. Good Luck

What kind of games u mostly play? If you mostly play Direct X games, get ATI Radeon 9600 PRO. If you mostly play Open GL games, get Geforce FX 5700 Ultra. ATI's D3D engine is so far the best yet no match for Nvidia's Open GL engine.

well if you are playing the best games with dx 9 (all the new games use dx 9) then go with the 9600 xt, the bandwidth on the ati's rock and the drivers are getting a lot better, i used to be a nvid fan boy but ati has stepped it up.
