I would go with the GeForce as their drivers are more stable and you can overclock.

The 9000 Pro isn't even as good as the Radeon 8500...

I have r9000pro.

Sadly, it isn't as good as 8500 standard version (but better than 8500dv or ve).

Thing to think about is this.

Do you want sheer frames per second, or would you like the graphics enhancements that the r9000 gives.

When I play novalogic land warrior, my r9000pro's enhancements really make the difference, smoothing and detailing things that a geforce wouldn't. One of the benefits of the new gpu is it's ability to work with the current gamesm enhancing them automatically without patching or extra code.

You will have to do a lot of reading though, the geforc4 ti and radeon 9000 and radeon 8500 are all better than each other in different ways.
