ATI RADEON 9000 PRO 128MB DDR vs nVidia Geforce4 Ti4200? Which one is better? The Ti is more expansive... um.... thanks for replys~Death-Knight~

I would go with the GeForce as their drivers are more stable and you can overclock.

had a good review.

The 9000 Pro isn't even as good as the Radeon 8500...
Here's a direct link to that review mentioned by S.M.:

I have r9000pro.
Sadly, it isn't as good as 8500 standard version (but better than 8500dv or ve).
Thing to think about is this.
Do you want sheer frames per second, or would you like the graphics enhancements that the r9000 gives.
When I play novalogic land warrior, my r9000pro's enhancements really make the difference, smoothing and detailing things that a geforce wouldn't. One of the benefits of the new gpu is it's ability to work with the current gamesm enhancing them automatically without patching or extra code.
You will have to do a lot of reading though, the geforc4 ti and radeon 9000 and radeon 8500 are all better than each other in different ways.
