Have you changed/mounted drives recently?
Enter your bios and check out secondary slave drive. It might be set wrong.

Usually that error message on the screen can be fixed by going into BIOS and setting all the IDE devices to AUTO.
Pri Master = AUTO
Pri Slave = AUTO
Sec Master = AUTO
Sec Slave = AUTO

What device is your Secondary Slave ?
Is is a CDROM or HDD ?
Is it working okay after you get into Windows ?

You could try going to the BIOS and resetting the BIOS defaults.
